Overview
We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our team. This is not a repetitive production job—every project is unique, technically challenging, and demands both creativity and precision. Role Responsibilities
Fabricate custom metal components using MIG and TIG welding techniques.
Accurately interpret and translate fabrication drawings into built work.
Break down large projects into manageable steps, self-schedule, and track progress to meet completion dates.
Manage multiple projects at once and assist leadership in determining when outsourcing is required.
Learn and apply new tools, techniques, and processes that drive innovation in the metal studio.
Problem-solve quickly and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Work independently and as part of a collaborative team to meet project goals.
Uphold exceptional attention to detail and high-quality craftsmanship.
Support cross-training across shops (wood, GFRC, etc.) as needed to balance workload.
Minimum Skills + Qualifications
3+ years of experience in a professional metal fabrication role.
Strong proficiency in MIG and TIG welding.
Demonstrated ability to read and translate fabrication drawings.
Proven track record of reliability and punctuality.
Strong professional and personal references (must be provided).
Demonstrated history of completing projects to deadline with minimal errors.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and handle the physical demands of shop work.
Respect for safety protocols and clean shop practices.
Professional attitude: able to take direction, accept feedback, and communicate clearly.
Strong work ethic and self-motivation—must remain productive without constant oversight.
Positive, solutions-oriented mindset with no tolerance for negativity or entitlement.
Portfolio, photos, or examples of past work (preferred).
Preferred skills + Experience
Experience with custom, one-off projects.
Basic experience with Rhino, Fusion360, or SolidWorks.
CAD/CAM (Waterjet) programming and/or operation.
Proven ability to adapt and excel in a fast-moving environment.

Benefits & Culture
Compensation: $28–$35 per hour, depending on experience and culture fit.
Overtime: Paid at time and a half.

Work Schedule: Full-time, on-site position, 40+ hours per week, 4x10’s typical, with flexibility for occasional overtime and overnight travel for project installations.
Serious candidates will be asked to perform a weld test and complete a short-paid trial run prior to hiring to ensure mutual fit.
